Where will you go?

Everyone goes somewhere when they die. Where will you go??

Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God:" Romans 3:10 says "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Every human being is a sinner. I am a sinner. You are a sinner.

Because we are sinners, we will spend eternity in Hell because sin is not allowed into Heaven. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Revelation 21:27 "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

So we are sinners and sinners go to Hell right? Yes. Then there is no hope for any of us to get to Heaven right?? Wrong!!!

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." God sent Jesus to die in MY place and YOUR place so that we might live with God in Heaven for all eternity.

Now how do we receive that gift of eternal life through Jesus?? First you must recognize that you are a sinner going to Hell. Second you ask Jesus to forgive you and to come into your heart. He will change you to be more like Him because He is the only righteous person that has been on earth and to get to Heaven we must be righteous too!

Still convinced you are not a sinner?? Keep reading…

Are you a sinner? A sinner breaks God's law. Let's just take the Ten Commandments and look at this for a few minutes...

1. Exodus 20:3 "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." --- Anything we put first in our life, other than God, is violating this commandment....family, job, an activity or event, anything! (I have done this.)

2. Exodus 20:4 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." --- God says ANYTHING! An animal, a statue, a person, ANYTHING! We are to worship God and only God. We are to rely on God and only God! (I have done this. It is called Catholicism and wearing a cross necklace for the soul purpose of trusting in the necklace. That necklace will not get me to Heaven and neither will Catholicism.)

3. Exodus 20:7 "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain." --- Have you ever done this? It is not just His name. It also means words like...gosh, golly, geesh, and any other word that is being used as a replacement for God's name. (I have done this…many times.)

4. Exodus 20:8 "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." --- This is more than going to church on the sabbath day, more than not working on the sabbath day. The Sabbath day is to be that one day each week that is set aside to worship God and spend time with Him in His word and serving Him. (I have not always done that.)

5. Exodus 20:12 "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee." --- This is honoring your parents by obeying them, caring for them in their old age, respecting them, and so many other things. (I have disobeyed my parents.)

6. Exodus 20:13 "Thou shalt not kill." --- Shall not kill what...people, animals?? The Bible says if you hate your brother you have murdered him. Do you have hate for someone? (I have hated people before. I have disliked people before, too. That is the same as murder.)

7. Exodus 20:14 "Thou shalt not commit adultery." --- The Bible says if we lust after another or look upon them with lust, we have committed adultery in our hearts. Have you done that? I have.

8. Exodus 20:15 "Thou shalt not steal." --- Have you ever stolen anything? I have.

9. Exodus 20:16 "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor." --- Have you ever lied? I would be lying if I said I never lied before.

10. Exodus 20:17 "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's." --- Have you ever had a strong desire to possess something that belongs to somebody else?

Wow! After that, I realize I am a really horrible sinner and am bound for Hell and if you are honest, you will see it about yourself, too. So now, choose Christ and LIVE! I did! What is your choice going to be? Heaven or Hell??

New directions...

So, it has been almost a year since I have posted anything on here. I have decided to take this blog in a different direction. While pictures may still be added, I have decided to focus completely on God and having a relationship with Christ...
  • I will explain how YOU can have a relationship with Him and how He and He alone will fill the empty space every person has in their heart that they are trying to fill with everything but God.
  • I will also put some of my devotions on here.
  • I will write about how the Lord is using me.
  • I will write about how He is changing me.
  • I will answer questions that have been asked of me and/or posted on here.

Feel free to comment and ask questions.
