July 23

These pictures are of leaves that are already changing colors and it is only July!!!

July 21

I went to church earlier than normal today so I could walk back to see the cemetery. I have never been back there before and wanted to check it out. These are a couple pictures I took along the way.

July 20, 2009

So, again, no pictures taken today. :( I found out this morning that the other Parent Educator in my office quit. I spent the day catching up on her stuff and mine and trying to schedule her clients into my schedule and another co-worker's schedule.

The picture above was posted by one of my sisters, so I am borrowing it for today :)

July 19, 2009

This is a picture of my cousin. I took it from her facebook. She took the photograph herself, I think, but I liked it. I miss my Noel :)

I spent my morning and early afternoon at church. After that, I went to visit a friend who was not feeling well, and another friend who was not feeling well. Both are better now. I had my camera with me, but did not take any pictures. I noticed that clouds in the sky were the "pillow" clouds while I was driving, but each time I got to a safe place to stop and take a picture, the clouds were not in the same place. It is suppose to rain for the next week and a half, well storm actually, but that is fine with me. We need the rain really bad!! Have a blessed day!

This is fun...

July 13, 2009
I went to a cemetery to sit and pray. I sat in my car just listening to the peace and quiet. This little guy watched me. When he felt comfortable, his friend came out of the weeds, too. I sat and watched for a bit.

Tuesday is visitation day. We go out around the community telling people the Good News about Jesus. Jesus dies for me and you and everyone! He gave us a free gift, paid the price, and all we have to do is accept it! We are all sinners condemned to go to Hell when we die. Jesus came and died to pay the price for us! If we recognize our sin and accept Jesus as our substitute, we can be with Him in Heaven when we die.

I was visiting families today and took this picture while we were outside playing with bubbles. I thought it was adorable. This baby had a BLAST!!

The Tennessee-New York (I think) pipeline is coming straight through our county. I drove past one place where it intersects with a road and just glanced as I drove by and thought I should turn around and take a picture. So I did! The dirt spots in this picture are the places where it is
being laid: front of picture, middle left of picture, and way out in distance. The car on the road is the interstate.

One of my nephews thought it would be fun to dig a hole in the yard. If it only weren't for the snow shovel! He grinned when I found him.

Starting early...

...so like I said, I could not wait! I am so inspired that I am not waiting until August 1st.

July 11, 2009
The New Concord Fireman's Festival was a blast for the kids. I attended the parade with the friends. I enjoyed fellowshipping with the families and being in the community. New Concord is a great small town. Maybe the Lord will move me there to live in the future. :)

Today in the afternoon service at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Pastor DeLeon preached on Philippians 2:1-8. My favorite verse is the one photographed here: Philippians 2:3. I found it quite appropriate to photograph it since I spent most of my day at church. On Sundays, I am at church from 9am until 1:30pm. This verse has been a favorite of mine for many years, even before I became a Christian. This verse has been something I try to live by my entire life.

Can't wait...

I have been so inspired to do this project and am not sure if I can wait until August 1st! It is three Saturdays away! So I might just start early :)

I am new at this blogging stuff. My sister told me of this she is doing and suggested I join in. So here I am :)

August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010 we will be taking one photograph each day and post it. Since I do not get to the internet each day, I will be keepign a scrapbook of these photos, too.

Enjoy :)
